When we had one or more fax machines on each floor, our fax costs were largely uncontrolled. We could ask people not to do unnecessary or non-business faxing, but we had no way of tracking and controlling costs effectively. We also had occasional frustrations with poorly prepared or outdated documents being sent, and being unable to identify the person responsible.

Every transaction over “Fax at my desk” and
“v Courier at my desk” is logged, including the name and IP address of the user.
